Espresso Martini recipe

Espresso Martini

An espresso martini is one of those drinks that can either get the party started, or bring it to an elegant close.

  • 80ml vodka
  • 40ml Kahlúa
  • 40ml espresso coffee, cooled
  • 6 coffee beans, to garnish

Place vodka, Kahlúa and coffee in a cocktail shaker (any container with a leakproof lid will do) and shake vigorously. Pour evenly into 2 glasses, decorate with coffee beans and serve.

You need an espresso machine to make the crema, as it won’t work with instant coffee. Or you can cheat by adding an egg white into the mix and shaking it vigorously. Your guests will never know!
