Campers welcome at the South Island Motorhome and Caravan Extravaganza

With special CSC parking packages ($20 for the weekend), the show is a great opportunity for campers to gather each year, look at trade sites, trade/sell motorhomes, and socialise. While the showgrounds can accommodate around 250 to 300 campers, the remaining are welcome to stay at local camping grounds.

Campers can grab a spot on Friday, 16 February from 2 pm onwards and stay until Monday, 19 February. The special package includes free entry for two adults and any extra adult will be charged $5. There will be no charge for under 15-year-olds. Tickets can be purchased (cash only) on the day. There are also self-containments and electrical warrants available on-site.

The South Island Motorhome and Caravan Extravaganza was the brainchild of Murray and Bev Meadows and has, over the years, become a popular event for trading and promoting RVs in the South Island. This year, the show’s management was taken over by the Lions Club of Ashburton.

MCD will be at Ashburton so be sure to check our website for photos and updates from the show.
