Prestige Novo 490/4 caravan

  • Simple style
  • Easy access
  • Ample room for 4
  • Plenty of storage
  • Well-appointed kitchen

Aerodynamically designed for good stability behind a two-litre or larger car, it is a simple but inviting style that will not ‘date’ quickly.

It has sufficient windows to give good light throughout the interior and all the windows have fly screens and blinds and are able to be opened.

Included in the price are a full awning and a shade awning, landing legs and a covered tow bar. The single axle carries disc brakes with a manual hand brake and the body is adequately suspended for stability on the road.

A pull-out step helps access through the single main entrance door, and inside at the front of the van are two squabs and cushions that can be re-aranged to make a double bed. With a removable table, they also form the dining room and there is ample room for four adults to dine comfortably.

The space under the right-hand squab houses the single 12-volt battery, the hot water cylinder and the pressure pump for the fresh water system.

The kitchen is well appointed with a four-burner gas stove/grill/oven. The stainless steel sink/bench is located to the left with additional bench space further to the left. The oven is ventilated by an exterior-vented rangehood.

Moving towards the fixed bed at the back of the van is a three-way fridge to the right, and a full wardrobe next to the bathroom with shower, toilet and basin to the left. The double bed has access from one side only and there is additional cupboard space in the rear corner next to the bed. With storage under the bed and cabinets on all but the rear wall, there is plenty of safe storage space.

One 12-volt battery is charged through the 240-volt mains connection and this powers the water pressure pump, the 240v/gas 14-litre hot water system and all of the lighting. The exterior compartment at the front of the van houses two 4.9kg gas cylinders, the spare wheel and other running necessities including a jack.

Fresh water is carried in an 80-litre tank and waste water goes into an 80-litre grey water tank. These tanks have monitors.

The unladen weight of this Prestige caravan is set at 1.310 tonnes and it comes with a current warrant of fitness, a current electrical warrant and is registered.
