Beef and bacon skewers

It's BBQ season and this tasty recipe is sure to be a hit

15 mins preparation | 15 mins cooking | Serves 4



  • 350 gram beef rump steak, trimmed, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
  • 8 button mushrooms, halved (or 16 whole, if small)
  • 1 zucchini, halved, cut into 2 cm pieces
  • 2 shortcut bacon slices, quartered
  • 200 gram tub tzatziki dip


  1. Thread beef, mushrooms, zucchini and bacon onto eight soaked bamboo skewers. Spray a barbecue plate or chargrill with oil. Heat on medium.
  2. Drizzle skewers with olive oil. Grill or barbecue skewers 3-4 minutes each side for medium, or until cooked to your liking.
  3. Serve skewers with tzatziki for dipping. Accompany with Greek salad and flatbread, if liked.
