Beef and bacon skewers

Need to bring a plate? This tasty recipe is perfect for campground gatherings

  • 350g beef rump steak, trimmed, cut into 2.5cm cubes
  • 8 button mushrooms, halved (or 16 whole, if small)
  • 1 zucchini, halved, cut into 2cm pieces
  • 2 shortcut bacon slices, quartered
  • 200g tub tzatziki dip


  1. Thread beef, mushrooms, zucchini and bacon onto 8 soaked bamboo skewers. Spray a barbecue plate or chargrill with oil. Heat on medium.
  2. Drizzle skewers with olive oil. Grill or barbecue skewers 3 to 4 minutes each side for medium, or until cooked to your liking.
  3. If liked, serve skewers with tzatziki for dipping. Accompany with Greek salad and flatbread.
