Chocolate fondue

October is the ideal month for indulging in chocolate! Here’s a tasty treat to whet your appetite:

5 mins preparation  |  3 mins cooking  |  Serves 2 



  • 250g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 300ml thickened cream
  • 2 tbsp Grand Marnier or other liqueur of choice strawberries, to serve


  1. Combine chocolate, cream and liqueur in a saucepan. Heat on low, stirring, for 2 to 3 minutes until melted and smooth.
  2. Transfer to a fondue dish and keep warm over a gentle flame, stirring often. Remove and cool.
  3. Serve immediately with strawberries (or other fruit) on a stick.
