TrailLite gets behind the V8s

The home of New Zealand V8s, held over the first weekend in November, also happens to be the home of TrailLite Motorhomes and Caravans—Pukekohe, Auckland.

So in the spirit of collaboration, TrailLite got behind Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport as the naming rights sponsor to support bringing the V8 supercars to their hometown.

Adam Newman, operations manager for TrailLite, felt a high-performance sport like the V8 supercars was a great fit for the company who values high quality, craftsmanship, and performance when it comes to building world-class motorhomes.

“While Jack Perkins (driver of Team TrailLite) and our supercar #62 didn’t win, we were still proud to be a part of such a massive event and proud to get our brand onto the international stage,” Adam says.

“It is great when New Zealand-owned and operated companies such as TrailLite are able to increase their exposure and generate interest nationally in products made in for and by New Zealand.”

Not only are the motorsports a big event for the town but they are also fast becoming a must-visit event for motorhomers and caravanners.

“There were more than 80 motorhomes at the official overnight motorsports parking and more than 100,000 people present at the event,” Adam says.

“We’ve already had plenty of positive feedback from our customers who are supportive of us choosing to sponsor an event they themselves enjoy.” Events such as these are a popular way to enjoy your motorhome and caravan and usually act as a social gathering for people who share similar interests.
