We’ve found eight great stops around the country that will transport you back in time to when flares were trending and a burger and shake was considered a treat!

Park up on Paeroa’s main thoroughfare, Belmont Road (SH2), and prepare to spend a few hours or more trawling through a wonderful array of vintage, antique and retro stores. There’s one after the other, each one an Aladdin’s Cave of treasure.
