New additions at UCC

This year is shaping up to be a big one for the team at UCC in Christchurch.

Not only has the business taken on a new line from Dethleffs—the Distinction range—they’re also about to take delivery of their first consignment of Niesmann + Bischoff luxury motorhomes.

The Distinction range

If you’re looking to buy a near-new motorhome at an affordable price point, the Dethleffs Distinction range offers an exciting solution. The range comes to UCC from McRent—which is launching in Christchurch and Auckland using exclusively Dethleffs vehicles—this summer.

The Distinction range comprises motorhomes released from the McRent fleet and will be exclusively available through UCC.

The motorhomes are based on automatic Fiat Ducatos, require only a WOF, and can be driven on a standard car licence. The price on these models is roughly 20 percent below retail, yet the motorhomes are less than a year old, with under 25,000km on the clock.

"We’re very excited by this new opportunity," UCC’s owner, Rob Floris, says. "These models provide an extraordinarily good value proposition for what is essentially a near-new motorhome."

Pricing includes a 160-watt solar panel, 19-inch TV/DVD, automatic satellite dish, external awning, and a reversing camera.

Layouts include either rear island beds or single bed options plus seating and sleeping for four with all models including a front drop-down bed.

Niesmann + Bischoff

Premium German motorhome manufacturer Niesmann + Bischoff is the most luxurious brand within the Erwin Hymer Group. The range will be available through UCC in the South Island, while Acacia Motorhomes will be the North Island stockist. "We’re very pleased to be adding Niesmann + Bischoff to our range line-up," Rob says. "The brand will complement the Dethleffs and Frankia brands well, providing customers with a top-of-the-line, premium option motorhome.

"The Niesmann + Bischoff vehicles count among the best in terms of concept and quality of workmanship and that’s something we’re very proud to be able
to offer."

Niesmann + Bischoff motorhomes include a 400-watt solar panel, a cleverly-integrated reversing camera with a seven-inch display, a stereo with GPS, a Tec Tower fridge/freezer, an awning, a 22-inch LED TV and a fully automatic satellite dish.

The motorhomes are built on a Fiat Ducato 2.3-litre 180hp automatic engine and include a two-year body warranty, and a five-year water ingress warranty.
