UCC Motorhomes and Caravan's have announced a new range of motorhomes - the Dethleffs Distinction range

UCC Motorhomes and Caravans in Christchurch has earned a solid reputation as being the South Island’s one-stop-shop for all things motorhome and caravan.

7-Foremans

From New Zealand-made RVs—including UCC’s own brand—premium European models such as Dethleffs and Frankia, to ex-rentals and second-hand vehicles, their aim is to provide customers with the best value for money in the market.

To that end, UCC is pleased to announce an exciting new offering with the Dethleffs Distinction range of motorhomes.

The new range

The Distinction range comes to UCC through another exciting development within the industry—that being the introduction of McRent, Europe’s largest motorhome rental company, to New Zealand.

McRent—a joint venture between Acacia Motohomes and the Rental Alliance (a Hymer company)—will be launching operations in Christchurch and Auckland, using exclusively Dethleffs vehicles, in time for the upcoming summer season.

The Dethleffs Distinction range comprises motorhomes released from the McRent fleet and will be exclusively available through UCC.

The motorhomes are based on automatic Fiat Ducatos, require a WOF only and can be driven on a standard car licence.

"We’re very excited by this new opportunity," Rob Floris, UCC’s owner, says. "The price on these models is roughly 20 percent below new retail, yet the motorhomes are under one year old with less than 25,000km on the clock.

"It really is an extraordinarily good value proposition for what is essentially a near-new motorhome.

"The great thing is because they’re less than a year old, they come with the remainder of the Fiat and Dethleffs warranty, which is great because, for instance, there is still a minimum of four years left to run on the water ingress Dethleffs warranty."

Pricing includes a 160-watt solar panel, 19-inch TV/DVD, automatic satellite dish, external awning, and a reversing camera.

Layouts include either rear island beds or single bed options and include seating and sleeping for four with all models including a front drop-down bed.

The first batch of Dethleffs Distinction motorhomes will be available shortly.
