Why not kick off the weekend at The Chinese and Korean New Year Festival. This event is free and will be running on Friday and Saturday at the Northcote Town Centre. There will be plenty to do for the whole family.

Saturday
The Auckland Seafood Festival is a highlight for the City of Sails so make your way down to the Wynyard Quarter on Saturday, Sunday or Monday. The festival runs from 11am till 6pm and tickets are $20 for adults.

The Annual Auckland International Buskers Festival should be the next stop on your list. It features street performers from around the world and Victor Rubilar is one of them. All of the performances can be seen in the central city.

The last stop of the day is Shakespeare in the Park. There is a session on Saturday at 8pm. It is held at the PumpHouse Theatre in Killarney Park Takapuna. Tickets are $24 for adults.

Sunday
The Warkworth A&P Show is a great way to get out and enjoy the countryside. There are many things on offer from wood chopping to sheep shearing. It is held at the show grounds in town.

Monday
The Oceanbridge Auckland Anniversary Day Regatta is a good way to start your Monday. There will be many family activities and the Warbirds and Red Checkers will be putting on an air show. Of course there will also be tugboats, ships and yachts on display. The event starts at 9.50am.
